David Elliott emails: "It is intended to have a reunion of all those who lived or were born in Mile Oak in the 1930s, 1940s and early 1950s.
"On the evening of Sunday, July 27, we would like - for old times' sake - the gathering to consist only of the Original Mile-Oakers.
"On the Monday morning, July 28, family members and guests will be welcome when a circular walk of the haunts we all remember so well will be revisited. We will finish at the pub in time for a snack.
