A car has burst into flames outside a Tesco next the A259.
The fire broke out at around 8.30am this morning outside the Tesco in West Street, Rottingdean.
Thick black plumes of smoke can be seen coming from the car.
Eyewitnesses said they saw one fire engine at the scene.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
