A car has overturned on the A23 with emergency services closing off part of the road.
The car ended up on a grassy verge by the side of the road as police and ambulance vehicles attend the scene on Tuesday, October 25.
The crash, which took place in the Albourne area of the A23, has slowed traffic as one lane was closed to deal with the scene.
The vehicle is thought to have overturned shortly before 2pm when police were seen at the incident. The reason for the car rolling off the road is as yet unclear.
Images of the car show the front of the vehicle completely destroyed while police officers and a recovery team look on.
Traffic was also seen queing behind the incident as the vehicles bottlenecked due to the lane closure.
The road has since re-opened at around 3.35pm and traffic appears to be coping well.
