Police have arrested a man after finding more than 100 cannabis plants during a raid.
They searched an address in Harbour Way, St Leonards, and found 104 plants in the lounge and bedrooms.
Officers from the Tactical Enforcement Unit carried out the warrant following reports of suspicious activity from members of the public.
A 20-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled Class B drug.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Rob Hanson said: “Cannabis is a harmful, banned substance and its cultivation, sale and distribution brings criminality to an area.
“It can lead to more serious crimes and goes hand in hand with violence, exploitation and addiction, sowing devastation among our communities.
“This operation proves that we will continue to be relentless in our pursuit of perpetrators, while working with our partners to address the root causes of this behaviour and safeguard those most at risk of harm.”
The man was released on unconditonal bail until March 6 pending further enquiries.
