Daniel Taylor, 34, will appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court today
A man has been charged with burgling a house after he was caught in the act by the occupants.
Daniel Taylor, 34, was also charged with possession of cannabis after the incident in Green Lane in Crowborough on Saturday, January 28.
Taylor, of Lynchet Close in Brighton, was arrested after police received a report that the occupants of the property had disturbed an intruder in their home. Nothing was stolen.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates court today.
