A popular 90s Britpop band are coming to Brighton as part of their national tour.

Kula Shaker, best known for their version of sixties rock song Hush, will play a show at Chalk following the release of their new album.

Their album, 1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love..., has been a large part of their tour in Europe and Japan.

Crispian Mills, the frontman of the band, said: "What the world needs now is love, sweet love.

"Affordable fuel, food, world peace and an end to debt-slavery would also be nice.

“So light up the incense and break out the magic mantra-cake as we're taking the 1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love (and free hugs) on the road to lift off '23 with some all-around good vibes."

The new album has been applauded by the Daily Express, Louder Than War and Shindig! Magazine.

Kula Shaker will play at Chalk as part of their Eternal Love tour on Tuesday, January 31 at Chalk.
