People were left without water following two outages in the city.
An emergency repair to a water main caused several homes to be cut off from supply temporarily in Wilbury Crescent in Hove.
Another pre-planned outage at The Paddock also left 13 homes without water for a short time while a fire hydrant was replaced.
A spokesman for Southern Water said: “We’re very sorry customers in Hove were affected by two brief water outages today.
“The first was a pre-planned outage at The Paddock, to allow for the replacement of a fire hydrant, resulting in 13 homes being affected for less than an hour.
“The second was in Wilbury Crescent and lasted for about an hour while an emergency repair was carried out on a water main.
“Water supplies are now operating as normal.”
