The Easter Bunny will greet bus passengers with Easter eggs on services across the city.

Those travelling on Brighton and Hove Buses tomorrow might be fortunate enough to spot the Easter Bunny on their travels.

They will be boarding a range of buses around Brighton, offering sweet treats to those going around the city on Good Friday.

However, passengers have been told to “catch him if you can - he is a bus hopper after all”.

Nick Hill, Brighton and Hove Buses’ commercial director, said: “What an absolute delight to have the Easter Bunny hopping on and off our services bringing a touch of magic and giving out Easter eggs to our passengers.

“Join us for a magical ride with the Easter Bunny and enjoy a fun and festive way to celebrate this Easter.”

A traditional symbol of Easter, the Easter Bunny dates back to 1682 and played the role of a judge, deciding whether children had been good or bad and carrying coloured eggs, as well as sweets, in their basket.
