Inspectors suggested pupils need to consistently build on their skills and knowledge across subjects with staff ensuring gaps in knowledge are addressed before moving on to new subjects.

Ms Chumnansin said: "We've been working really hard on all the targets since our last inspection in 2020 and we will still be moving on and developing things."

She joined as headteacher in 2021 and since then has added enriching activities to the curriculum such as a forest school and places where children with anxieties can go.

She added: "The community have supported us so much. From families to businesses, everyone comes together to make sure every child has the very best progress."

Ms Chumnansin said she feels "very lucky" to be working in the school, supported by a strong leadership body.

She added: "Parents are so pleased with the results. One told me that they 'knew the school was already' but to have it on paper was great."
