Aldi is set to re-open its newly improved store including a fresh stock of ranges and new additions to the middle aisle.

The budget supermarket is set to re-launch its Lottbridge Drive shop in Eastbourne after a refurbishment which includes a more customer-friendly layout.

After closing on Friday, June 2, the store will now stock a wider range of products including more space for meat and fish as well as aisles for beers, wines and spirits.

Store manager Edyta Wojtczak said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.

“We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”

The new look store will also include a new and improved “food to go” section as well as new, easy to browse freezers.

The “Aisle of Aldi” will also return offering a number of outdoor products available for a limited time including a garden shade, cool box and a solar bird bath.

Aldi in Eastbourne will re-open on Thursday, June 8, with the return of normal opening hours.
