Two history days will be coming to a medieval castle this summer for all of the family to enjoy.
Arundel Castle has two events coming up where people try a range of hands-on activities including archery, mini-catapults and craft tents.
There will also be weapons demonstrations, music and a falconer for people to watch various birds flying.
The history days are being held on Thursday, August 10, and Thursday, August 17.
Andrew Lewis, castle manager at Arundel Castle, said: "The history days events are a great value way for families to be entertained during the school holidays enjoying the grounds and gardens, meeting historical characters and taking part in hands-on activities.
"The warrior training and the renowned kids battles entertain participants and spectators alike.”
There will also be refreshments at the café, restaurant or tea terrace.
People can also bring their own picnic to enjoy in the castle grounds.
Tickets for the History Days event are available on the Arundel Castle website, starting from £14 per adult and £6.50 for a child to include the grounds and activities or from £25 per adult, £11.00 for a child and £61.00 for a Family Ticket to include entrance to the Castle. Children under five years old can enter for free.
