A Sussex beach has been named one of the best in the country for dogs.
Cuckmere Haven Beach in East Sussex was ranked fifth in a new list of beaches which have top ratings and are also dog-friendly.
In the research, dog-friendly beaches were found and a list of more than 140 were ranked based on their Google ratings and reviews.
Cuckmere Haven Beach scored just over eight out of ten and was commended for its stunning views of the Seven Sisters cliffs.

A spokesman for bath retailer Showers To You, who carried out the research, said: “The quiet pebble beach enjoys the views of the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs that makes it a prime spot for some bonding with your dog.”
Dorset beaches ranked highly, with Durdle Door and Man O’War beaches coming in first and second place.

2. Three Cliffs Bay, Glamorgan
4. Marloes Sands, Pembrokeshire
5. Cuckmere Haven Beach, East Sussex
6. Freshwater West, Pembrokeshire
7. Seacliff, Lothian
8. Porth Joke, Cornwall
9. Gwynver Beach, Cornwall
10. Long Sands North Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear
