Brighton has been named as one of the most dangerous places to drive outside of London according to a new study.
Collision statistics show that over 900 collisions happen in the city for every billion miles driven by vehicles in the area.
The figures rank the city as the fourth most dangerous city outside of London and one of the most dangerous in the entire country.
Figures from OneSureInsurance also show that crash data was historically highest 2012 and lowest in 2017.
The data compiled in the study was taken from the Department for Transport and looks at the time period between 2012 and 2021.
Figures for Brighton and Hove were nearly double the average number of crashes for the entirety of the UK.
