A road is currently closed after reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a van.
Multiple police cars are currently at the scene of the incident in Boundary Road in Portslade near Portslade Railway Station.
A Brighton and Hove City Council van can be seen near the scene but a council spokesman confirmed their vehicle was not involved in the crash.
Part of the road is reported to be closed as a result of the ongoing incident.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
