A new gym is set to open in Eastbourne this week.

PureGym, the UK’s largest gym operator, will open in Hampdean Retail Park, in Lottbridge Drove, on Thursday (February 1).

The new gym, which will offer low-cost, no-contract memberships, will be open 24 hours a day every day.

The gym, which has automated external defibrillators (AEDs) installed in case of emergencies, will feature hundreds of pieces of equipment, alongside a functional zone, free weights area, cardio equipment, and a fitness and cycle studio.

As well as the gym space, which spans across 14,000 square feet, the gym also offers a range of fitness classes at the venue which are included within the membership price, along with free parking.

A spokesperson for PureGym said: "We are very excited to be opening our latest gym in Eastbourne which will broaden access to affordable fitness in the area.

"With more and more people recognising the benefits of exercise for their physical and mental health, we are thrilled to be opening another state-of-the-art, 24/7 fitness facility which members can use around the clock to enhance their overall wellbeing.

"We look forward to welcoming new members through our doors – sign up to our opening offer now!"
