A road was closed following a crash involving a car and lorry.
The incident happened this afternoon at the A267 Frog Hole Lane junction at around 2.10pm.
The driver of the car was treated by ambulance crews and is understood to have been taken to hospital.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews attended the crash near Five Ashes which is north east of Uckfield.
The A272 was closed at Dog Kennel Lane.
Sussex Police urged people to avoid the junction although it has now reopened.
Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is asked to report to police online or via 101 quoting 676 of 12/02.
