A stranger threw a rock at a man’s face.
He suffered facial injuries in the assault which happened at around 7.45am on Sunday, February 4, near the Sovereign Light Café in West Parade, Bexhill.
Now, police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
A spokesman for the force said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault, or anyone who has information which could help them with their enquiries.
“You can contact us online or via 101 quoting 250 of 04/02.”
