A man has been left with life-changing injuries after he was glassed.
Keiron Everitt, 37, attacked his victim in Rushmans Road, Horsham, with a pint glass at around 6pm on November 18 last year.
The 23-year-old victim was left with extreme injuries and scarred for life after the “vicious and unprovoked” attack, police said.
When officers arrived at the scene Everitt told them “it’s a shame it wasn’t worse”.
He was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison at Lewes Crown Court on February 12 after admitting causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detective Constable Bav Chahal said: “Keiron Everitt is a violent offender who assaulted the victim in a vicious and unprovoked attack, leaving him with lifelong scarring.
