Filming at a beauty spot is thought to have been for a Netflix fantasy drama.
Trailers were parked in the Seven Sisters Country Park overflow carpark on Monday and Tuesday night.
The production, referred to as Essex 2, is believed to be code for the Netflix show The Sandman, based on the comic book of the same name written by Neil Gaiman.
There has also been filming at the Royal Pavilion Gardens in Brighton this week.
The series stars Tom Sturridge, Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong and Patton Oswalt.
Crews are also due to be in Regency Square and New Steine in Brighton today.
One bystander said: “It’s great to see our Seven Sisters being used for high-profile films. First Wicked and now whatever this is.”
Lorries with the words “Movie Makers” were taking trailers and equipment away on Tuesday night at around 8pm.
The country park was also used for filming of Wicked starring Ariana Grande in June last year.
