Among the comedians set to attend the festival is Kiell Smith-Bynoe, star of the BBC hit drama Ghosts, who will debut his new improv show "Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Friends: Kool Story Bro" on October 24.
Other festival headliners include author Fern Brady, and The Guardian’s top 21st century comedian Nish Kumar.
A spokesman for Brighton Dome said: "We’re thrilled to announce the brand-new, annual Brighton Dome Comedy Festival, launching 24-27 Oct 2024.
"Following the refurbishment of the Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, the festival will bring together some of the UK’s most exciting new talent and comedy superstars."
All the events will feature live captioning to make them accessible to all.
This is the "first time ever" this has been done at an in-person UK comedy festival according to Brighton Dome.
