Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here.

Daisy

Gender - Female

Age - 10 years old

Breed - Crossbreed/Unknown

Colour - Black & Tan

If you want to adopt Daisy you can view their full profile here.

Daisy is described as a "friendly" dog once she gets to know you but can be worried by strangers.

She is looking for an experienced owner, a quiet home environment to allow her time to settle, and no children being around the house.

Daisy is quite an active dog, so would benefit from her own garden to run around in.

Tom

Gender - Male

Age - 13 years old

Breed - Domestic Longhair crossbreed

Colour - Black

If you want to adopt Tom you can view their full profile here.

Tom came into the care of the RSPCA after his owner surrendered him and he is now looking for a retirement home.

At first, he was very frightened, but after spending time in foster care he now enjoys human company a bit more.

He likes fuss and attention, although he isn’t confident enough to be picked up with ease.

The RSPCA adds: "In his next home, Tom will need a separate room he can have to himself for settling in initially. He will be scared at first so he will need plenty of time, space and encouragement."

Maisy

The Argus: MaisyMaisy (Image: RSPCA)

Gender - Female

Age - Three years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Black and White

If you want to adopt Maisy you can view their full profile here.

Maisy came into the care of the RSPCA via an inspector and was missing a lot of fur as she has a flea allergy.

Owners should be aware this can be kept on top of by keeping up to date with flea treatment.

The RSPCA adds: "She is still quite shy but is getting more confident every day. She is very receptive to treats so this has been a great way to improve her confidence with humans!"

Maisy will need her own room at first to help her settle in as well as a secure garden to explore.
