Police attended a dog kennels and removed bagged up items.
Scenes of crime officers were seen removing bagged items from Highlands Kennels in North Street, Horam, north of Hailsham.
Sussex Police arrived at the address on Thursday morning.
They did not reveal why they were at the dog kennels.
Two police cars, two police vans and three forensic vans were at the property.
A force spokesman said enquiries are ongoing.
