Newly painted walls and columns along a seaside promenade have been vandalised.
Graffiti tags have been daubed on the walls in Bottle Alley, Hastings.

A spokesman for Hastings Borough Council said: "We have seen an increase in graffiti tags appearing on the recently painted columns and walls in Bottle Alley.
"This criminal damage causes a huge cost to the taxpayers and takes workers away from other vital jobs.
"If you have any information about who was responsible for this, please let us or Crimestoppers at 0800 555111 know."
