Plans for a new 80-bed care home have been approved.
The house, in Chapel Park Road, St Leonards, will have a hairdressing salon, cinema and various lounges for residents to use.
According to the plans, the "modern" and "homely" care facility will also have "state-of-the-art facilities" and will fulfil community needs, as well as provide employment for people in the area.

Various communal lounges and areas, including an activity room, will be set out near residents' rooms for easy access.
The plans, approved by Hastings Borough Council, also state that each of the bedrooms, which will be a mix of residential and nursing suites, will have their own toilet and shower room.
Residents will also benefit from the normal "hotel services" such as onsite catering and laundry facilities.
There will also be an outdoor garden space where residents can relax and grow their own vegetables.
People with a ground-floor bedroom will also have their own patio area.
AP Architecture Limited, on behalf of Pegasus Group and the applicant Urban Village Group, said: "The purpose-built care home will offer a range of facilities for the residents all of which are intended to improve the quality of life for the residents of the home.
"The garden areas will be designed to incorporate both formal gardens and not-so-formal areas around the care home and include areas where residents can maintain their own area if desired, or grow vegetables for use in the home.
"The proposed development will ensure that the local communities have access to the specialist care this home and assisted living units can bring.
"The proposed home will ensure that the resident’s quality of life is greatly enhanced within a comfortable, and ideal location, within easy reach of an established community."
Although the plans have now been approved, some residents in the community expressed concerns over the size of the development with some neighbours claiming the building would be "inappropriate" for the area.
It has not been confirmed when building work is set to begin.
