Crowd pleasing high-flyers the Red Arrows will take part in the world’s biggest seafront air show.
The RAF top guns will soar over Eastbourne seafront as part of the town’s spectacular Airborne festival.
This year the iconic Red Arrows team will mark their arrival in Big Arrow formation directly above crowds packing the promenade.
In past years the aerobatics display team has split into two formations to fly in from opposite ends of the seafront.
Councillor Steve Wallis, Eastbourne’s tourism spokesman said: "Their incredible arrival directly over the crowd’s heads will be spectacular.
"The line up this year is very impressive with displays from the Tutor, Typhoon, Hawk and Tucano celebrating 90 years of the RAF.
"There will be plenty to do on the ground as well with displays from a new free-running team from Holland."
Airbourne starts on Thursday and continues until Sunday with displays and fly-pasts by historic aircraft including Spitfires, Mustangs and the Go Fast jet pack man.
The Red Arrows will close the show on Friday at 4.50pm and start the flying displays on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm.
Tickets for the event start at £5 and are available from Eastbourne tourist information centre.
