So after a weekend which saw Brighton claim an impressive win next up were Walsall at the Bescott stadium. I've been there before and the place is not great as many grounds in this League are, the club have a small following just 3,549 attending last nights game this was made up of 379 Brighton fans, to be honest isn't bad for a Tuesday night especially in Walsall and looking at our League position its is a good attendance for us.

So what could we expect from the game after we won 5-0 at the weekend, and Walsall losing 5-0 at home to Bristol Rovers, I said before the game Walsall would tighten up and would come and hit us hard, they want to make a point and show that Saturday was a freak result.

Brighton would want to put on a show as well and show that it was not a case of Yeovil being bad Saturday it was a case of us being good and being able to kill teams off.

A show was definitely put on, a freak show that is as Brighton found themselves 3-0 down after 39 minutes, after some awful defending mostly by Livermore filling in at left back and Andersen not having a great game.

After some tinkering in the second half we managed to hold on and not let any more goals in. The Albion faithful showed their anger as they booed the bowed head players standing in the centre circle.

We need to build up a run of games to be able to get out of this mess, not win 5-0 then put on a horror show like last night. Slade had the players in the changing rooms for 50 minutes after the game, and good for him, you have to remember that this was a unchanged side, a side which 72 hours restored my pride in being a Albion fan and then so easily took it away, I received lots of stick at work today and that is becoming to much of a common thing, especially when most people support the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd there is just nothing to compete against. I just wish the season would end now.

So just 10 more games to go 30 points to go for considering we have only mustered 35 points out of a possible 108, it is a monumental task, as my prediction table below shows we should have got a point last night but it wasn't to be.

Walsall 1, Scunthorpe 3, Tranmere 1, MK dons 1, Hereford 3, Swindon 3, Bristol Rovers 1, Colchester 1, Oldham 0, Huddersfield 3, Stockport 0 So the above will leave us with 52 and means we will stay up, So Scunthorpe next we won there two seasons ago when they were top, but they are flying at the moment Slade needs to make changes to the side and stop silly slip ups like last night.

Andersen, Whing, Heath, El Abd, Livermore, Carole, Jarrett, Bangura, Cox, Forster, Owusu, Subs Elphick, Borrowdale, Davies.
