I AGREE with Ms Laws (Letters, April 11). For me, Portslade library has been a depressing experience.
Fortunately the Mile Oak library, although small, has a dedicated core staff who assist the community and, as such, the library is a valuable resource. Hove library is also a valid asset. I never tire of the splendour of the architecture. The historic facade of this super building is, for me, monumental beauty.
