A company has won a top award for designing curtains that kill bugs.
Disposable Cubicle Curtains has been given the Queen's Award for Innovation for its work tackling infections including MRSA.
The curtains are used in hospitals, GP surgeries and health centres across the country, helping to keep medical areas clean and reduce the risk of infection.
They contain a residual biocide that instantly kills bacteria it touches, meaning infection is unable to spread.
The firm says each curtain takes less than a minute to fit compared with up to 20 minutes for traditional curtains, saving healthcare staff valuable time.
The company, which is based in Faygate, near Horsham, has just four employees and is one of the smallest to be given the award.
