Last night I trotted along to the Brighton Frocks dress rehearsal, the final rehearsal before the show tonight at 9pm and my god it's going to be good.

If you've booked tickets for the event - which I hope you have as it's a complete sell out -- I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Because we've all been concentrating on the specific shows we are involved in, last night was the first time that we all got to see the catwalk in it's entirity. Even without lighting or a stage last night, the result was breathtaking, so be prepared to be blown away this evening.

Each designer has maxed-out on style and imagination this year, so as you would expect they're all quite rightly feeling very proud of themselves. The level of excitement and commotion backstage last night was off the richter and emotions were running high.

Twelve local designers, some established, some brand new, bringing you some of the best collections Brighton has seen so far in a marvellous theatrical showcase.

For those of you who think fashion shows are all about glamour and are relatively stress-free, think again. Everything has been timed to perfection, every dress and suit is tailored for each model, every model has dedicated the best part of two months to working closely with the designers so they can ensure that they do their design work justice. Nothing here has happened by accident.

As you can probably guess from my tone, I am already a mixture of being completely beside myself with nerves, combined with extreme hyperactivity. I am also positively sure everyone taking part tonight is feeling exactly the same as I do right now.

So when you get there tonight all calm and collected and you're sipping on your glass of white wine or ice cold beer waiting for the show to commence, think of all us backstage probably peeking at you through the curtains at the side of the stage.

We'll be mostly running around like headless chickens, panicking that we might fall over or tear something expensive and desperately wishing we were having a glass of wine with you.

Lights up, music starts, let the show begin.

Doors at 7pm, show starts at 9pm @ Hilton Metropole

If you can't make it tonight then don't worry you haven't missed out completely, to finish the weekend in true stylish form and mark the conclusion of the Fringe festival, Brighton Frocks Fashion Emporium will be opening its doors for keen fashionistas everywhere at the Hilton Metropole all day tomorrow and Sunday (24th & 25th).

Picture a 'Fashion Wonderland' including makeover areas, live models a Red Bull relaxation lounge, The Emporium catwalk show, fashion installations and capping it all off with an after-party that'll knock your brand new socks off, and guess what, we're all invited!
