Doesn't the weekend come around quickly after a bank holiday weekend?!

Last weekend was filled with great summer activities, from BBQ's on the beach, long bike rides, catching the last of the fringe (including the fireworks - which, is it only me or were they a bit of a let down in comparison to last year's?) picnics and maybe a little too much drinking!

This weekend I am off on a work's do to a pub crawl round Kemptown. I have been to the odd pub in Kemptown, I really like the Sidewinder, but always coming in from Hove, I rarely make it past the rows of pubs on Western Road, so I am looking forward to discovering some more pubs such as The Oak and The Pub With No Name (which I know nothing about but I like the name, or no name as it may be!) In addition I am making the most of the short commute to London and popping up to see a very cool gig....I am re-visiting my youth and seeing Boyzone which I am secretly excited about! I assume that it is possible to get the last train home after - something I have never tried before, but if it is possible, I will definitely remember for the future. Being able to get home (easily) after a gig in London opens doors to even more gigs (as if we weren't spoilt for choice in Brighton for seeing bands!) Another thing that caught my eye, which I hope to pop by and see in the Japanese Street Festival put on by Moshi Moshi. Yep, just as soon as one festival ends, it seems that another begins!
