I WAS pleased to read your report that there will be no changes in the administration of the council, as I learnt from a fishmonger in Roman Road, Bow, in 1950 “never throw your dirty water away until you are sure you are clean.”
You also commented that there may have to be some compromises, but who could object to the Greens’ proposal to make all the residential roads 20mph?
Safer and quieter roads are in everyone’s interest.
