A man sent a string of sexually explicit and threatening texts to two ex-girlfriends after mental health workers took him off his medication.

Pascal Dupre began acting out of character, Brighton Magistrates’ Court was told, after medication for depression and mental health problems were taken away from him.

Dupre went out with one of his victims for three months but kept turning up on her doorstep drunk after she stopped seeing him.

He sent her parcels and then a series of sexually explicit text messages which she reported to the police.

Dupre, of Station Road, Portslade, met the second woman in a bar.

She received threatening texts from Dupre after she stopped seeing him because she was concerned about his deteriorating mental health.

He pleaded guilty to criminal damage and two charges of harassment and was ordered not to contact his victims.

Dupre was given a 12 month conditional discharge and told to pay £150 costs.
