About 30 firefighters fought to tackle an office block fire in the town centre during the early hours of this morning.
Crews were first called to Rothermere House, in Cambridge Road, Hastings, at 4.40am.
The fire was on the top floor of the seven-storey building but spread down. At its height six fire engines and two aerial platform ladders from Hastings, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Broad Oak.
Crews eventually put the blaze out at 6.40am.
Fire investigation officers are currently looking at how the fire started.
