WITH reference to David Daly’s views (Letters, November 20), I would also like to lend my personal support to our mayor, Councillor Ann Norman, and her consort Ken who place their political views and associations to one side in their work for many charities and business in the City of Brighton and Hove.
On more occasions than could be listed on this page, in the summer Ann and Ken supported causes and events organised with the Brighton and Hove Bus Company’s input.
They are valuable and welcome guests in our charity work – be it Pride, the Special Olympics, Armed Forces Day, White Night, Coaster Sightseeing and the pride of City Sightseeing in the UK.
They are worth every penny and work more hours than most do in any normal week from early in the morning to late at night.
So be glad we have such dedicated and hardworking dignitaries who have the best interests of our city at heart.
Marc Sinclair, co-ordinator, City Sightseeing 2010 and special projects, Brighton and Hove Bus Company
