A body discovered on a Greek island has been identified as a man from Sussex.
Nick Stonley's remains were found at an abandoned building site in Rhodes in September.
The 40-year-old, who lived in Brooklands Way, East Grinstead, had gone to the island earlier this year to open a snack bar but the business failed.
Mr Stonley disappeared after going on a walk on the island on July 29, leaving his passport and medication in his flat.
Despite appeals for information from his wife Virginia, 34, and father Ray, he was never seeen again.
Mr Stonley was said to have been ill and depressed and was not eating properly in the run up to his disappearance.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman confirmed the body of a Briton had been identified but said the exact cause of Mr Stonley's death was still not known.
