COULD I please thank the gentleman who stopped to help a damsel in distress – me.
It was a very wet, windy morning on Friday, November 13 at 11.15am on the corner of Cowley Drive and Falmer Road, Woodingdean.
I was so pleased to see him. The traffic was dreadful and he tried my phone for the AA but there was no signal.
He stayed until my car started then he went back to his car.
I’m sorry I never asked his name, so whoever you are “thank you” again and I owe you a drink.
Jean M Peters, Heronsdale Road, Woodingdean
