A dog lover is threatening legal action after her car was clamped outside a veterinary surgery.
Lisa Pullinger, 41, parked at Coastways Vets in Portslade and visited a nearby supermarket before going into the surgery.
Ms Pullinger, of Wolseley Road, Portslade, who is a volunteer for the Dogs Trust, has been a regular visitor to the surgery over the past few months with her blind West Highland terrier Georgie.
She said: “I only went into Aldi for a couple of items.
I couldn’t have been there for more than five or ten minutes.
I was going to pop into the vets because I wanted to hurry them up over my insurance forms.”
Gemma Nice, a nurse at Coastway, said Ms Pullinger had been in Aldi for more than half an hour and the vets had waited ten minutes before calling clampers.
She said: “Usually we like people to come in and ask if it is OK to use our spaces.
We were going to say to her that we would remove the clamp but she became very rude to one of our staff.”
