An off-licence was held up by thieves carrying a BB gun.

Police are appealing for information following the robbery at Threshers in Rowlands Road, Worthing.

The incident happened about 10pm last night.

Three men threatened the shop assistant with what is believed to be a BB gun.

They stole around £200, champagne, cigarettes and scotch from the shop.

All three suspects are described as in their late teens to early 20's and around 5'8".

The first suspect is described as slim build, wearing a green camouflage jacket and a red handkerchief or bandana over his face.

The other two suspects are described as slim build and wearing black hoodies. One of them had dark skin.

Three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, all from Worthing, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are due to be interviewed later today.
