Reading Monday’s Argus, I was interested in the picture entitled Goldstone Glory Days.
As a keen Albion supporter, I Googled Brighton and Hove Albion, 1954, to try to identify the game.
The date stated was April 3, 1954, but according to Statto.com Albion were away to Colchester United on that day and drew 1-1.
On March 27 they were at home to Southampton and won 2-1 and then on April 7 they were at home to Swindon Town and drew 1-1.
