A driver and two passengers were injured when a car crashed into a field near Lewes.
The crash happened at a junction known as Mackerel's Corner, in Mackerel's Rocks, a quarter of a mile south of the Newick Park Hotel.
An Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf hatchback carrying three people left the road and crashed into a field at about 10.25pm on Saturday.
The driver was seriously injured and taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.
Two passengers suffered minor injuries.
