I would like to appeal to all your readers who call for a taxi that they please phone the taxi company if they change their mind after ordering one.
I have, as a cabbie, battled through recent snow and ice to get to addresses only to find no one in. As the “fourth emergengy service” – I frequently take people to A&E – it’s an annoying waste of my time.
