The shortlist for the inaugural Brighton and Hove Business awards - the BAHBAS - includes some of the biggest and best names produced by the City of Brighton and Hove.
Companies on the shortlist range from the smallest and newest to the largest and longest established - from Mistral Internet to the Royal Pavilion, Party in the Park, Brighton Festival, Gresham Blake and Brighton & Hove Albion - and many others.
The BAHBAs have been designed to showcase the best of the City's businesses and recognise those companies, organisations and individuals that bring economic benefit to the City.
Over 3000 nomination forms were circulated throughout the City via Juice FM, Brighton & Hove Life, Sussex Enterprise and Brighton & Hove City Council.
Residents and businesses were invited to make their own nominations across a wide range of categories, from the Company offering the Best Service to Customers to the Event of the Year and the Ambassador for Brighton & Hove.
The winners will be announced at a star-studded gala dinner at Brighton Racecourse on Wednesday 1 September.
