Lewes MP Norman Baker has hit the nail on the head concerning the further delay on the decision for a community stadium at Falmer.
With the next General Election looking likely to be next year, John Prescott knows the three Labour MPs for Brighton and Hove may well lose their seats over the outcome of his final decision.
I hope political considerations do not come into it but I suspect they are at the back of his mind. Labour will pay a heavy political price if the final decision is not made before the next General Election.
