Varndean pupils Ryan McMillan and Kieran Mercer have been selected for an English Schools under-18s training squad.
Centre-back McMillan and midfielder Mercer will link up with the squad managed by Pete Chisholm, the Warden Park teacher from Cuckfield, at Keele next month.
Both players will be in the newly-formed Sussex Schools' under-18s squad next season.
Sussex boss Ian Hutchings said: "I am delighted Keiran and Ryan have been chosen for England.
"It should be a good experience for them.
"Keiran is an excellent crosser and Ryan has made a successful conversion from centre forward."
