It is no secret Brighton and Hove City Council is not flush with cash.
So I must question the wisdom of building an expensive monorail along the seafront.
Surely we should concentrate on getting the existing infrastructure working properly first? We need more bus lanes, an improved cycle network and more places for locking bikes.
As for underground car parks and park and ride schemes, I thought the idea was to try to reduce car use - not increase it.
