So, Geoff Loader of Southern Water is asking for suggestions regarding the colour of the proposed sewage plant in Peacehaven.

As the plans for this project have yet to be submitted for planning permission, isn't he jumping the gun a bit? Or is it already a foregone conclusion?

The access road from the A259 to the proposed site is close to a public footpath. I understand permission to move this footpath has been requested.

So Southern Water is obviously confident its application for this monstrous project will be approved.

This plant is far too close to our properties (a few hundred metres in some cases), far too big (the size of five football pitches) and will cause even more hold-ups on the heavily-congested A259 (the only access road for Peacehaven).

So my suggestion to Mr Loader is to build it somewhere else. This is not a suitable site.
