How sad that another Hollywood great Marlon Brando, possibly the greatest screen actor ever, has died at the age of 80.

For him fame came after his second movie, A Street Car Named Desire (1951).

On the Waterfront (1954) turned him into a superstar and won him his first Oscar.

After a long decline in his career, he was given the part as an ageing Mafia boss in The Godfather, for which he received his second Oscar in 1972.

Brando lived life to the full, was married three times, was extravagant and ended up £10million in debt but I am sure his legendary Hollywood image

will be remembered.
