Regarding the letter from Angela Kenward about drivers not stopping to assist her when she broke down, my husband is a lorry driver and used to stop regularly to assist broken-down drivers.
However, there have been so many cases recently of seemingly single women alone breaking down being used as "bait" to lure drivers to stop and be robbed that he will no longer take the risk of being caught this way.
Sadly, I think many more drivers are in the same situation.
