I can't believe Miss Stiggant-Smith suggests leaving a dirty, smelly uniform in a locker after duty (Letters, June 28).
At least if a hospital worker wears a uniform home you can be sure it goes in the laundry basket.
I know several hospital workers and none wears a uniform two days running. It's called hygiene.
Nurses wear their uniforms with pride, so leave them alone. We all need them sometime.
