Adam Trimingham's claim that those who voted for UKIP and other pro-independence parties in the Euro 2004 elections are Little Englanders and therefore fit targets for sneers and derision is misplaced.
The true Little Englanders are the Euro-Junkies who insist our country is so insignificant and so reduced in circumstances and our people are so feckless and stupid, we must surrender our free will and prostrate ourselves before the tawdry blue banner of Brussels.
After all, when we next have to change a light bulb, we might get it all wrong and goodness only knows what the consequences of that might be.
On the matter of that ghastly blue banner, can someone tell me why there are a dozen stars (not very European).
Surely there should be just ten?
